Kia Ora and welcome to the Whanganui Community Foundation.

Important Letter from the Chair – Temporary Suspension of Grant Rounds

Kia ora koutou katoa,
I ngā tini ahuatanga o te wā nei

It is a new year and with it brings change, and the Whanganui Community Foundation is no exception. Stephen Brandon, our hard working C.E is leaving us to pursue other pathways and we wish him well in his endeavours. His leaving has given the Foundation an opportunity to revise and restructure the way we do things to support our Communities better.

To this end, all grant rounds are suspended until May 2024 to allow the Foundation to map out and create a new pathway moving into the future.

i.e. the scheduled grant rounds in March and April 2024 are cancelled.

All grants that have been made will continue to be honoured, and any new applications will be entered into the system, but will not be assessed or otherwise until the May 2024 round. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause people.

Heoi, ngā mihi anō ki a koutou and keep up the great work out there.

nāku noa
